The widdershins directions of a pensive moment

Play this before starting reading

The words say they are in sync with the energies of the music and my thoughts, they say they would like to be read slowly and with your full attention leave your worries for a moment outside the door of your mind and then enter this zone. Close your eyes and take a slow breath, feel the air inhaling with it enter the energies of the universe; exhale the air with it exit the bad thoughts. Try to be in sync, be slow, absorb - reflect. Here we go...

It is hardly ever, that I do a few things immediately when I think of it. Like, right now writing these words at the moment. The thoughts passing through my mind and my fingers touching and clicking the keys of the board. It's as if we are one; as if the computer is a part of me. I am reaching the deeper parts of me and trying to bring those parts in the form of words appearing right in front of you. Wait!... did I get you there? Did it feel like I am right there while you're reading this? Yes/No/Maybe. Even I feel like this sometimes with myself. Have you ever had those moments when you catch yourself being there?

Breathing,             seeing,             hearing,             thinking,             writing,             running,                walking,             sleeping,             eating,             reading,             listening to music,     waking up,             watching?

It's like you're in a park somewhere soaking in the smell of wet mud and trees, and in your mind, you're with you. You look at either side and find yourself looking back at you inside. Suddenly, the world starts speaking to you, and you start to listen. Listen carefully, it may tell you stories you never heard before.

Seldom is the way of the world, it is always speaking, moving, doing its thing. You look at the leaves they slowly move in sync with the air, the squirrels climbing the branches, the birds chirping and looking for twigs to build their homes, the sky being always the radiant source of light, the clouds giving poses to me playing with the colours and forms, then instantly you catch yourself looking. Internally you realize the importance of this, this is what being present really means. I heard somewhere that it's a gift to be in the moment that's why it's called, 'the present'.

It makes you feel the feeling, while also you're witnessing it going and slipping away like a sand clock. The present is slipping away and becoming the past. You're not worried because your focus is on the future that is to become the present and eventually the past. Like a wave in an ocean, it comes, touches and passes through you. I can do this forever, again and again. Loops of these kinds are really good. At least that is what makes me feel alive.

This piece of writing may not be perfect, and that is what makes it real. We ought to look at the world through our lens, I only wish there was a way to watch it neutral. Sometimes I do that unknowingly, then again I catch myself and lose that chain of thought. It's there. You wait for it, you know it's going to come and it passes leaving behind the memories of a beautiful 'present' moment, which ironically is the past now.
